Raising her as his daughter, he gradually regains his faith in God and finds true fellowship with his neighbors. The parallel story of Squire Casss family—which intertwines with Marners at the denouement—demonstrates the truth of the saying "Be sure your sins will find you out" as hidden things are revealed...
