Aside from a few technical exercises, the music content consists entirely of Christian hymns, choruses and songs which reinforce all the music theory and techniques which are logically introduced throughout the course.

Yamaha YRS-23 Soprano Recorder
(German Fingering), $9.49
We recommend this one because of the greater ease in transferring from the recorder to other woodwind instruments. The primary difference is in how the F above middle C is fingered.

Yamaha YRS-24B Soprano Recorder
(Baroque Fingering), $9.49
If you already have one, it is probably a Baroque. It is the more standard recorder although the German is the easier fingering

Yamaha YRA-28B Alto Recorder, $29.50
The Alto recorder is about 18 1/2 inches long and is an F-pithced instrument.

Yamaha YRN22B Sopranino Recorder, $8.40
The Sopranino Recorder is the smallest in size and is about 9 inches long. It is an F-pitched instrument. The sound is one octave higher than written.
