In the second of three episodes, you’ll visit the Circus Maximus, where the chariot races took place, the Roman Pantheon, the place of polytheistic worship. You’ll learn about such momentous events as the great fire of Rome and Neros resulting persecution of the Christians. In the third episode, you’ll become acquainted with Hannibal’s invasion of Rome, the Colosseum and the Gladiators and the early Christian influence over the empire. The Drive thru History series is probably the most easily understood teaching of Roman and Greek history I have ever experienced. Don’t forget to tell your readers to put their DVD into the computer and print off the study guides for the DVDs. My husband is an Army Chaplain currently in Iraq. I sent him a set of these DVDs and his Sunday School class attendance nearly doubled. These videos have also been enjoyed by my 3,6,9 year old children.
